Well exposed, great sense of depth from the far horizon, excellent breeding colors on the brown pelicans.

Would be fun to have same shot except the comorant alone on the far edge, like a stranger looking towards the group.

Interesting and a bit comical but as a photo there are lots of problems including those introduced by your being way off sun angle and the beach being somewhat of a mess. Where? a

Thanks for the comments. Photo was taken from a fast moving boat in the San Ignacio Lagoon, Baja Sur, Mexico.
It was bright light on a large sand bar where there were hundreds of various species sunning together on the beach in the afternoon.

This one is a real dog's breakfast. A tighter crop of the 3 preening birds in the middle may work better, but alas no real eye coontact.
