Image was created in the month of August,2015. part of the perch is removed.


Basic editing. Cropped for composition.
NR applied to BG.


ISO: 400, 1/1000 @6.3. Spot metering. Manual settings.
Canon 550D, 100-400 mm.

Love the great eye contact and all the detail. BG is nice too. It's too bad the perch is so abruptly chopped off.

Bird and BG look great. The perch has nice texture to its bark, but I agree it is unfortunate that its end is sawed off.

Nice looking bird in a perfect pose and gorgeous background. I noticed the cut perch, but it's not a deal-breaker for me.

Lovely bird and image with a great BG. THe colors work so well together. Agree that it would be even better if the perch hadn't been cut.

Hi Satish, lovely look back pose, and well exposed on the darker plumage on his head. I like the two toned beak too. Great view of the feet.

Very nice image, lovely pose and background.
I get the impression the sharpening could reveal more detail in the plumage, you indicate NR to the background but the bird looks as though it could deliver more to me, it looks almost as if it had NR??

Well done Satish. Beautiful detail on the bird and I love the pose. The BG colours are lovely. (wished our starlings looked as nice as this)

I like the pose, sharpness, composition and sweet BG. The cut off part of the perch is unfortunate. Nice image Satish.
