Great looking bird Karl. Just a hint of something in the back which is nice . I wonder if not chopping the top off the seed branch would help a bit ? No big deal

Exposure control is well done Karl. Wonderful frontal view with a nice head turn showing the raised head feathers... all on a nice perch and lovely BG. Well done.

Nice look at this puffed-up female. Was it a cold day? Good colors, pose and perch. I second John's thoughts about a little more room to show the top of the branch, if you have it.
