Obligatory Hooptie Deux Spoonbill

Back from my 4 1/2 days in Florida, and this is the first image I have post processed upon my return. If you want Roseate Spoonbill images (and many other species for that matter), or want better opportunities to improve on the ones you already have then James Shadle is the man you want to talk to :cool:. Incredible day on his boat, and his expertise in placing it for optimal results is first class!

This one was taken in the afternoon as we were experimenting with back-lit landing situations. This Roseate Spoonbill took off to our left...and with the sun to our right it was perfect for flight imagery:).

Canon 40D + 100-400L @400mm, manual, 1/800s., f/7.1, ISO 400, -1/3 EC, handheld from Hooptie Deux, 80% full-frame.
