Don,t see these very often in my drinking pool. - in fact the first time I,ve ever seen one in water. Makes a change from sparrows I suppose.

Hi John -- very cute character ! I liked the settings , nice sharpness here . I might have cropped a bit from the top to eliminate the land .

Beautiful animal and that light in the eye takes it up a notch for me. Its a very challenging crop decision imo however I would go with cropping out the land reflection placing the subject in a traditional top right power point in doing so. Image is tad underexposed imho

An unusual sighting indeed John, with good colour & detail in the fur.

To crop the top bank or remove altogether, it's up to one's ethics of course. I very rarely clone/remove subjects, but this is one case where keeping my fav 2:3 ratio works here.

A suggested RP, WDYT?
