The Jabiru Stork is the tallest flying bird. A large male can stand 5 ft tall. We were on a small boat and this guy towered over us standing on the bank in the early morning sun.

The bird leaned to the right a bit, so in the process of straightening it, I had to add a little canvas at the bottom.
Thank you for your comments

Hi Loi,
I like the details on the bird's head and elsewhere. It looks like you did a good job adding canvas at bottom. Nice image.

An impressive fellow indeed. I like the head turn to show off that impressive bill.
The whites on the his right side of breast are not showing much detail, perhaps it could be reprocessed .
Nice job on the canvas.
Cheers

Hi Randy. God suggestion. I'm away from home now, but will look into getting more details on the white when I'm back. Thank you. Loi

This is really a lovely portrait! Love the light and the framing and the white on dark.
