Black-rumped flameback/Dinopium benghalense/Bangla katthokra shot today in Dhaka.
1DM4/500mm f4 II/f5.6/ISO 2000/ and 1/1600. Some photoshop work - contrast, selective sharpening and
clone-healing a small piece of branch. Corrected for overall green cast. Comments and criticisms welcome. Thanks for

Handsome bird, interesting perch, good grip, head angle towards us, well exposed overall.

I wonder if the reds on the crown were just a bit overexposed and then brought back, as there is some loss of detail there.

Perhaps just a bit tight in the frame for my taste.

Nice detail on the head though I do see what Randy is pointing out concerning the reds. Nice BG. Well taken.

Allen and Randy - many thanks for your feedback. Indeed the red is over saturated and could be corrected I think. Thanks for pointing it out as it got past me. Tight crops are always tricky and it could probably use some more work in the crop.
