I posted one image from this bird back a few months ago. Here is another one that I like very much. I was lucky that this bird came out close to me while I was laying in the water photographing other species.

I'm beginning to think you have grown gills! Do any "passers by" try to save you? Love the POV and the water droplets. BG and FG, as usual, are gorgeous. It looks like you have caught the nictitating membrane crossing his eye.

bird bathing is always interesting to me, unique styles for each bird... I would wish for more "bird" but this pose really highlights the head and chest. Wonderful BG and FG, TFS!

Neat flying water drops, and the low perspective works well. I like the crop too. Only thing is the eye seems a bit hazy, and for that reason I would darken the pupil.

Lovely image, Lorant. Nice low POV (you must have been laying in the water), the splashing water add interest to the image. Nice work, thank you for sharing.

Beautiful shot and it's very very very comical. It's tack on sharp. Just curious, do you put your camera on water-proof housing?
