Taken the other day,this bird had just had a preen,then had a flap,but not seen before stood on one leg,cannon 500mm L,is,F4,5dmk111,1/4ext 700mm,bean bag,iso2000,F9,1/1600S,crop,sharpened,SH,levels.

Caught this one in a nice stretched pose Chris, like the outstretched blurred wings that give the impression of movement and also the ruffled neck feathers, just my personal opinion but I prefer this one to your last with the bird being a little higher and clearing that dark band, the colours are lovely.

Nice and interesting capture with great colours. Perhaps one or two sharpening artefacts on the lower ruffled neck feathers?
