This is another from my portable hide at the loch side. Still struggling here for decent light.

These Little Grebes winter in Scotland, the only Grebes that do. They are about the size of your clenched fist, but are hardy little guys.

Habitat is a bit busy, but a very nice looking little Grebe.....

Very nice shot showing the habitat. One thing that bothers me a lot is the stick that protrudes from the grebe's back. Maybe clone that out? As far as exposure, I would probably lighten this up ever so slightly.

Nice low angle, the Grebe could use a bit of sharpening. I agree the surrounding is a just a bit too busy

nice one Will,like the low angle,agree with comment on reed coming out of its back,but it is in its environment.TFS.

Great low POV. Low lighting conditions handled well. I'm not crazy about the reed sticking out of his back, but the rest of the bg, busy or not, gives a great sense of his habitat.

Hi Will, neat little bird, worth the effort in your hide. I like the low angle and showing the environment. Thank you for sharing.
