Hey Mike, much better comp on this one. Love the illumination in the flower. Did you have sunlight hitting the top of the flower, as the flower lights up nicely, the buds underneath are shaded. A reflector would work well here to throw some light on the buds and stem. Looks like your having fun with the new equipment, keep em coming.

Mike....nice image. I like the lighting on the backside of the bloom. I wish the 2nd bud wasn't so close to the first bloom but not much you can do about tthat.

Very well composed, Mike, although maybe a bit more of the stem of the bud wouldn't have hurt.
