Harvest Mouse
One for Haseeb. The only one I could find with a full stalk on the left but it has put the mouse a bit out of balance I fear.
Nice to try and get a natural looking setting in captivity but not evr easy to do.
Taken around 1967 on Ecktachrome 64 ASA Transparency
Copied on home made device on Nikon D7100
Metz 402 twin heads.
Pentax S1A
f16
Slight crop. Lot of dust bunnies removed.

Hi John -- Thank you for this image ! Yes looks a bit out of sorts as it is looking in the direction where less space is provided . nevertheless i liked the settings and the way it is perched is fun to watch . You can go for a round of NR as some noise is visible in the image , cant comment on the colours at the moment as i am not using a calibrated monitor .

TFS !

I like the composition of the shot John, the small in frame style really works. I'd love to see you repeat it with your modern gear.

Super quite image, John. The two stalks provide a nice frame to the little mouse.
