had to use a few more stacks in this to get the back leaves in. Bit of an awkward one this !!
D7100
Sigma 50mm macro
100 ISO
10 stacks in CZM 25th sec @f5 Nearly full frame. Some of pot removed.
Played with levels/curves a little

I think some one has been monkeying around with the clone tool John! It is apparent in the bottom 1/3 in the background some stright lines on the RHS and some greens towards the base.
That aside I think the flower is outstanding, and maybe you will be pleased to hear I like your background too:cheers: (At last I hear you say:w3
The only significant issue I have is that the plant is suspended by sky-hooks. If you were to crop it to where those nicks in the bottom leaves are I think it would be a stunner.

Yes john As I said- an awkward one having to take the pot out !! Have changed the original

Lovely! I might go for a tad darker, but maybe just on the flowers. I was going to wish for more room on the bottom, but cropping into the leaves a bit could be the same sort of artsy-ness as cutting off the top of someone's head in a portrait. When done right it can really work.
