Sportive Lemur (Lepilemur ruficaudatus) Kirindy Forest Reserve, Madagascar. These cute nocturnal lemurs don't look so sportive and we only found them clung to trees. Yet apparently they do bear this name for a reason and that is their ability to jump, when they do...

What big eyes you have - this one scores high on the eye contact scale! Being nocturnal, I suppose they jump around a lot at night. :) Nice sharpness on the lemur. The hard shadow along the right side of the animal gives the image a flashed look. You might tone down some of the white spots on the tree that were lit up by the flash.

What a face! Incredible eyes (and ears). The shadow does look harsh but I love the image despite that.

Very nice. The eyes just pop out at you. I agree about softening the flash a bit. The composition suits me just fine.

Maybe they were named by someone with a sarcastic sense of humor. I like the eye contact and how he's curled up in the nook in the tree. It does have that flashed look however.

Thank you all for the valuable comments. Steve I tried your suggestions and removed the white spots and softened the shadow. Thanks.

I like the repost, Vincent. It must have been a fun trip to see all these interesting animals. Wish I would have been there. :)
