Eurasian eagle owl

Picture taken in Bulaotun, Beijing at dusk. This eagle owl was nice enough to allow to get pictures of it during five hours (12:00 p.m to 5:00 pm). And from 5 meters to 30 meters. It changed locations from time to time but all within 100-200 meters of the previous location. This picture is taken from about 17 meters and no crop.

I really like the habitat. I think you could do more with the processing on the Owl, it seems dark and I think you could make it pop more.

what a beauty! and brave of you to shoot at 1/100. I see that there was not much light. I'm with Dan in that you could brighten the owl a little more with Levels or Curves. Loi

Whoa! The setting/environment/mood is just amazing. Those eyes are captivating.
Judging by your techs, it seems like there wasn't a whole lot of light, and your image is likely faithful to the original scene. If so, I'm just fine with it as is.
