Happy New Year!

Is been a while since I last managed to go and shoot. A small flock of 4 Avocet are wintering in the Island which are a rare sight here.

Also, does someone knows if there's a difference in the bill from adult to young? I notoice that 2 of the 4 birds had a more up curved bill than the one photographed here.

Happy new year. Nice portrait of this lovely bird. You did well to get so close. Good detail and I really like the background colours. The eye may be able to take just a little more sharpening.

The BG colors are beautiful.
Great POV and DOF. Bill is nice and sharp throughout.Perfect HA.
I think the eye needs a bit more sharpening.
Exposure is perfect and the whites look great.
