I captured this photo on a sunset shoot on Nahoon reef in the city of East London on the South African Wild Coast back in April.

I am off to the Kalahari for 12 days from Thursday.
Thanks to everyone for a great year on the BPN Wildlife Forum! I've had a busy year between work, photography, family and church commitments and hope to be a tad more active (and pro-active) in 2016 here on the forum. Thanks for sticking this one out with me! :Whoa!::t3

I wish you the very best for 2016!! :5:cheers:

Very nice scene, with lovely blurring on the water. I wonder if a little re-balancing of color would be in order, though. The cyan in the water is interesting but it might be hiding a bit of tonal detail.

Great movement on the waves and a good composition leading the eye to the rocky islets. Agree with Diane about the water colour, just a touch too much cyan. I am really jealous of your trip to the Kalahari. Enjoy

Hi Morkel, Lovely cool tones ,well composed and nice use of the shutter speed to imply movement in the water

I like the water and the FG. You needed a better sky.......

Thanks everyone. I will have a look at the colour of the ocean.
Dan - yes I was sooo hoping for the light to peak on these clouds, but some more clouds to the west blocked it :(
