Crab Spider at Loiza, Puerto Rico, Canon 30D, Canon MP-65/with macro flash. ISO 100, f16 @ 1/250 sec. As you can see my backgrounds keep getting lighter with the use of manual flash.

Congratulations on mastering flash techniques, good advance!
Very nice catch, I may crop the right side to get rid of the OOF bloom.
It looks like it's made out of jade!

Very nice image... I like the spider against the contrasting white flower petal... and the rest of the flowers' color complementing the spider... Not sure I woud crop.. For me I like the dark green again the white petals on both sides... but maybe clone the OOF bloom in the LRC out.

How do you like that lens? I've heard very good things about it, but can be tricky to use?

Hey adcolon, Very well done, agree with the others about cloning the bloom on the LRC.

Hi adcolon,
You are definitely improving with the flash techniques. Agree with getting rid of the LRC bloom. Robert doesn't like the clone tool.......(friends don't let friends clone)...........patch tool it! Jee i hope that's right.
