Green-winged Teal drake

Continuing to dredge through my files for waterfowl, I found this teal taken in the Great Swamp NWR in March of 2014. Not the greatest reflection, but I liked the green swoosh and the pewter color of the water.

D7000, 1.4 TC, ISO 1250, 1/2500s @ f/6.3 manual.

One of my favourite little ducks, just enough reflection and the duck looks real nice, lovely soft glow on the water, very nice job.

Beautiful IQ, Bill. I agree, the water color is outstanding and the brushed green on the head and the patch on the side are very appealing.
