I am identifying this as a Clay-colored Sparrow but not sure. If someone more experienced can help please chime in. This image captured at Allingator Point, Florida in Bald Point State Park. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Nikon 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6 VRII AF-S ED shot at 400mm (600mm FFE)
1/2000 F/5.6 Matrix Metering 0 EV ISO 320 AWB, camera supported by a monopod
Post processed in Lightroom 6 and Photoshop Elements 10, a couple pieces of offending vegetation removed from the lower left
Cropped for composition and presentation

You are more than likely right about the ID. Joe.
Nice image, excellent pose.
Composition wise I would put the bird higher up in the frame and would loose the crossing blades, like this.
Of course it is just an other way to show this nice looking Sparrow.

Hi Joe, I very much like the simplicity of the image and the cracking backdrop/colours. I'm with Karl about some more 'pruning', but perhaps not as much, personal choice. I do think the image is a bit 'thin' in the overall depth and a 60% Luminosity just adds that I feel, BTW % numbers personal choice. Overall I think there is more you can still get out from within the original capture and worth revisiting IMHO.
