I like the colours and the feather detail. Nice pose aswell. I can see a brighter version Jon, but nice as is.

My nemesis duck!!
I love these splashing poses.
Really like the water droplets and wonder if you have more of the splash on the left to include in the image.
I also feel like this could use a hint of CW rotation.
I would evict the 2 water droplets that look like specular highlights just above and in front and behind the head.
Agree with Will image is a bit dark and increasing the brightness would be a good thing,

Hi Johnathan, very nice shot of this bird making a commotion in the water! Everything looks agreeable to me! I have one small nit though: Suggest cloning out the 2 larger OOF specular highlights above the head at 11 and 2 o'clock.

edit: Lol Gail must type faster than me! So count this as another vote to remove the specular highlights :)

I always like to capture duck images with a splash. Your looks pretty nice, lots of water around and nice clean head area.

I love a good duck splash shot, and this is a nice version of an even nicer species, nice work Jon.

Hi Jon, lovely bathing behaviour, and I do like the flying water/droplets all over the place. You have captured a nice angle too.

I like the action, feather detail, water drops and composition. Well done Jon!

Loverly as detailed above. I'd love to see it a bit wider with the whole back-splash included. Super-sharp with a good EXP. a
