Here's another agate close up. This is an Apache Agate and it is also from Mexico. It looks like a grouper to me.

BIG LIPS...:D

30D & 100 f2.8 Macro, ISO 100, f22 @ 1/2... Again on a tripod and teathered to the computer using Verilux bulbs for lighting. (In case your wondering I didn't mess with the colors or saturation in PP.)

Hey Steve, very cool abstract. I like the various tones and great lines, and nice sharp details. I thought the same, it looks like a giant fish.

I first saw the thumbnail and thought "why isn't that over in "out of the box?" Wow...very cool. It really does look like an illustrated version of a grouper!

I've got to admit that i love rocks............neon glow to it is very cool! does look like a grouper! I do like the comp also....well done!

Cool image, Steve. At first glance I thought it was a filtered alteration of a photo. Nicely compossed and the colors simply glow.
