Soft light gave you saturated colors, soft shadows. Nice cheek patch. Good shooting angle, open bill, head angle.

A bit tight to right. The birds left side of the breast has a magenta case.

Did you need to apply any noise reduction to the bird?

He certainly fits the theme.

Nice calling pose and it sure is a colorful BG. The details in the green head look great. Well done

I like the low angle and the colors, beautiful BG. it's just a bit too tight on the left. great details and handling of high ISO as well, it's a good example to show folks should not be afraid of using high ISO at all.

I love the calling pose, it makes him look so happy - and your title made me laugh as soon as I saw the duck's face! Good colours throughout. I agree the composition is rather tight at right.
