Hi Jon - This works very well with the look toward camera and the wing position. I sort of like the line of puffins at the bottom but can also see more of a pano comp with them eliminated. Nice to have the options.

Great shot, Jonathan. I'm not often a fan of oof birds, but I really like this one (although, like Rachel, I could also see a version sans oof puffins). Great flight position, beautiful background, good exposure with detail in the whites. Well done!

I liked this before I opened it properly ,like the OOF line of birds, the in focus flying bird looks nice and sharp and very well exposed, great shot Jon.

I really like what you were going for here. The line of puffins is really sweet, but I find it unfortunate that they are so close to the edge of the frame (with some of them clipped). The incoming puffin is excellent - sharp, well exposed and composed within the frame.

Cool flight shot with Puffins lining up in the background.

Hi Jon, you sure are producing excellent shots with that ' Canon' of yours. Great eye contact, raised near wing, and overall nice and sharp. The Puffin really pops from the BG. Comp wise, just personal, I can see a version without the OOF Puffins.

My Skype phone hasnt been connected for a while, thus the silence. :w3 It should be sorted soon, and you will be the first to know. :w3

Excellent image Jonathan! I like the sharpness, IQ, exposure, BG and pose. I like the OP but could also see a pano version minus the OOF puffins.

This is one heck of an image and story! Love how the puffins are all lined, although a tad more room beneath would have been ideal. I also like the pose on the flighted puffin, as though it's giving you a head turn!!! A very pleasing scene indeed!!!
