Black Guillemots - A bit 'arty'

Our little 1953 ice breaker is quite a cool vessel IMHO, however getting out in the zodiac just provided so much scope for other opportunities and thinking. In this particular area we just killed the motor and let ourselves drift around where Black Guillemots were swimming and we were presented with this lovely ice berg a gorgeous backdrop, swamping all below it. Not so worried about detail here, I just like the overall atmosphere and etherial POV.

Hi Steve, what a lovely setting, and I can almost feel you drifting silently across the water. I really like the lines in the glacier, together with the colour reflected from the water.

I hope you print this big, and hang it on a wall. A fine image Squire.

Thats a cracker Steve. You can 'feel' the movement. Beautiful colours throughout. Very nice indeed. It would look great hanging in my bathroom on the white tiles :w3

Bathroom, kitchen, hallway...it would look good anywhere! Fantastic image Steve, very appealing colours. One of the better "small in the frame" images I've seen in a long time. You can even crop to above your signature as an option, but boy this is very strong as is.:c3:

Don can you drop me a line where you see it. Just looked at it within LR 'visualise dust spots' and can't see anything, they normally pop up as little donuts :bg3:.

Hi Steve - I too love it. You can feel the cold and the silence of the place, except for the cracking of the glacier. Beautiful blues and nice small in frame image. Well done.

This is so different from what I have seen from you, a new visual impression creating an experience, an abundance of space, a new contemplation. It took me a while to "absorb" this frame, and even a longer period of attention to the minutest details of this massive iceberg, the blue waters and the Guillemots with their calm drift about.

Crisp, blue, healthy air... I am so jealous of your recent journey and sightings:)
