This is a very nice winter scene, and the subject is in an ideal pose with a beautiful spread tail. neat curled primaries too! The only thing is that the composition is rather central - having the subject placed more to our right within the frame, with more room for it to look or fly into, would have been beneficial. You can do this in post by cropping in from the right, and then bottom or top (or a bit of both) to retain the original ratio.

A great flight pose, of a bird that I don't think I've seen images of before. Nicely captured. I second Daniel's crop suggestions.

Beautiful color palette and great bird. Agree with cropping to de-center but would hate to loose much of the blue at the top. What about coming up from the bottom and right? Unconventional, but maybe worth a try. Or not. :)

I like the pose, setting and sharpness. Good suggestions above to make this an even stronger image. Well done Gerald.

My feelings are with Daniel. This is an amazing capture, and I especially like how well the raptor matches the environment. I agree the birds needs to be placed a bit more to the right of center to give it more emphasis.
