Very nice Jon. I feel with the head angle it would be useful to see a vertical. With the head angle as it is its difficult to crop it with room for the bird to go in to if you get what I mean
Well done.

Hi Jon, another fine image. Lovely detail on this one and great DOF. Love the one eye, and I like your placement of the bird in the fame.

Another gorgeous image Jon, love the light coming through the vertical wing. Would have preferred if the subject was a tad more to the right so more room to fly into, but... The HA for me is not ideal, but I have the impression he/she is winking at you. I think this is my favourite so far in terms of light & exposure, keep them coming.

Impressive owl and image. Love that look back. Not sure it's the best comp possible.

You are killing me with these owl shots.
Love that BG.
It is a tricky one to compose but I think I would like a bit more room to fly into. This is an image that will really have lots of differnet pinions re: the crop so go for the one you like the best.
Would be keen to see what Grace suggests. She has the best eye for composition,
Gail

Thanks very much everyone, the crop was a little awkward to decide, I can send the TIF should anyone like to offer an alternative.

I might move the Owl to the left a tad. You have done very well with these, the bit of habitat at the bottom is really a nice touch.

An excellent take here. I would be inclined to go for a vertical crop here.
