Hi James,

Hope you don't mind. Fixed the horizon, played with curves and a little more sharpening!

Take care!

I like the mood and preening pose and like the slightly darker version Maxis posted.

I like the pink on blue and the preening pose is very nice. The slightly sharper repost is an improvement. Darkening the image changes the mood, IMO. Both versions work - it depends on what mood you prefer.

Beautiful image James and I love the delicate shades of pink against the all blue BG. Excellent detail too !!!

This composition may scare a lot of photographers... I like it. When you've got a subject relatively large in the frame, especially with a reflection, throw them right in the middle. You'll like the results! Great work, Dad.

Wonderful bird and timing. L like the re-post as it looks more contrast with vivid colors.

I agree with Blake. The composition (centering) works well as is often the case with vertical photos. Colors are beautifully muted in the original post and that, together with the pose, creates a mood of serenity. A quite, beautiful moment.

I would like to see the head more parallel to the camera - more eye contact.

Thanks for all the comments!

I still prefer the original (thanks for taking the time to re-work Maxis).

My goal was to present a "softer" elegant look.
While the re-post looks very good. It changes the mood.

Thanks James
