Stunning bird with a great perch and BG. Love the colors and all the feather details. I'm not totally sold on the crop. Was there a way to go horizontal?

What a bird. Great IQ, nice pose and what colors! I agree about the crop...feels strange to me as well. TFS.

Hi Stuart,
I suspect the vertical crop could work (with bird and perch at 45deg) if there was more room on the 2 sides and top. The bird seems high and large in the frame as-is. I can see that landscape orientation could work also, as mentioned by the others.
I feel the HA is turned a tad much, the bird seems to be looking to the right of me.
The perch, background and bird are killer beautiful! I really like the reds transitioning to green in the background :)
