These birds look different depending on the light. In full sunlight the back is moss green and in some light the face looks almost white. This one is in light reflected from the surroundings. Cropped from horizontal.

Hi Colin. There are some beautiful colors in this image and I find the bird's behavior interesting. However, I do wish the blacks had detail. Thanks for posting.

Wow, this was an unexpected image. The upside down pose is unique and the bird is stunning. The blacks do appear a bit blocked but the bird seems slightly in the shadow.
