My mom has a wondeful flower garden my entire life. I guess that's where I get my love of flowers. I went to pay mom a visit today and took home a few of her Iris's for my wife...........and for me to photograph. Mark 3 with the Sigma 180mm macro and the Canon MT 24 twin lights on manual 1/32 power at f32 and 1/15 sec at ISO 800.........all tripod mounted and the 10 sec. timer enabled. Silver relector also used for a bit of bounce.
As always comments welcomed and appreciated.

Roman,

Very nice image from my view. Like the nice sharpness you got from the small f/ stop, and textures from the nice lighting. My eyes are drawn to the apex made by the 3 sepals (i think.!.) in the sweet spot on the right - then ultimately to the gorgeous, orange fower parts above. Nice capture.. My mom also always had a flower garden with Iris, zenias, snap dragons and sweet peas - wonderful memories. I know exactly how you feel! :)

Cheers,

Bruce

It works well Roman. Did you use a 3 stop GND? :)
