Image of this juvenile cuckoo was created yesterday morning.

Basic editing. Cropped for composition. NR applied to BG.

ISO: 400, 1/500 @5.6. Spot metering. Manual settings.
Canon 550D 100-400 mm.

This is a great looking bird, Satish, wonderful eye contact and I love the lookback pose. The branch curves nicely through the frame, the only thing I would consider is darkening it. The blue patch at the top is drawing my attention as it doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the colors. If not against your ethics, I might remove it. Thanks for posting this image, very enjoyable.

Beautiful looking bird, Satish. Very nice look back pose and good detail. Like the light on the bird, but for me the BG is a bit bright drawing me towards it. I too feel that the bright areas of the perch could be darkened a bit.

Here is the repost as suggested by Grace and Geoffrey. I have tried to reduce background brightness and blues in the BG. Hope you will like it.

Much better. The beautiful bird stands out better. My only suggestion would be to move the bird to the left in the frame a bit. Well done Satish
