I find it fascinating how we individually interpret Lower Antelope Canyon. It is far more interesting to me than upper.

Here's a scene I captured a few years ago, while using only the 24-70 on my 1Ds the whole day. I was dedicating my time to small scenes and abstracts. I had a blast.

Hey Jeffrey,
This is sweet! This has excellent leading lines and flow to it. The slighly darker base serves as a very nice anchor while the rest of the textures and lines troughout combine to form a very pleasing flow. doesn't get any better than this!
PS How was Africa???

The lighting really enhances the 3D effect. This structure is my favorite in Antelope Cyn and this is one of the best renditions that I have seen.

I agree with lower. It's my favorite as well. I love this shot. Very unique. I can't believe I missed this.

Never been there but I've seen quite a few pictures from the area. This is a great interpretation. Very different from many of the images I've seen in the past. Even though it's a detail of the canyon it has a grand feel of a 'normal' lanscape with interest in fore, mid and background. Good stuff. Bet it looks even better as a print. Do you have your work up locally?

Thanks, everyone.

Leroy, I've had seven photographic shows in SB over the past 5 years. I hope that when I have enough Africa images printed, I'll find another venue, and let you know about it.

Jeffrey,

Great image for all the reasons Roman mentioned. A very well seen composition.

Awesome color and texture. Is the frame rotated?

Thanks. No rotation, but I may have tilted the camera a bit, I really don't remember.

Cool abstract image. I agree that the lighting enhances the 3D effect here, well seen!
