This was taken in August at a local park. The Greenies were very approachable so I thought I would take advantage. Left the highlights in the BG as is because I didn't mind them.

Very night portrait with lots of detail and DOF.
I agree with you that the specular highlights are fine here. They are big enough and create a nice pattern and they are not bright so it works.
