I captured this image of a Common Buckeye last week at St. Mark's NWR in Crawfordville, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Post processed in Lightroom 6 and Photoshop Elements 10
Cropped for composition and presentation

Hi Joseph. Like the frame, details and pose. I guess with f/8 or even f/6.3 BG could be less busy and DOF could still cover the subject. I would apply NR to the BG. TFS.

I too think the background is busy and in need of noise reduction. Nice critter!

Very nice capture of the butterfly in good light! I don't mind the BG except for the white petals -- they pull my eye away from the subject more than I like.

I like the shot if it were mine I would desaturate the background greens a little and apply NR to the whole image but much less on the subject.
