You did very well with the composition here Rosl. I like the OOF white plants in the LLC. BG is nice. The head of the male is somewhat lacking in detail, but this doesn't really take away from an otherwise excellent photo. Thanks for posting!

A stunning image. I love the sense of movement apparent in the wing blur. Congrats!

The motion blur of the top bird put this over the top. Lovely background too.

Stunning capture, with a perfect BG and, as mentioned, the wing blur implies the movement he was doing. For sure a winner!

The timing was excellent in this image and the beautiful composition and stunning BG puts this over the top for me.

Wow! Fantastic photo Rosl, the blurred wings add a sense of motion, which fits the activity well:D.

Hi Rosl!

As always, I love your artistic feel. Really nice story at the height of action! I love the soft colors, and they go well with the background. I also like the three white plants, which you did well in toning down.

The curved perch traps my eye to a brighter area in the corner. The light area is easy to even it out ... and while you are at it, I would also try to even-out all of the background (see if you can lessen the contrast between the darker areas and the lighter areas). As presented, the center of the background is darker than the corners ... which tend to lead the eye out of the image.

Both birds have the perfect head angle. Sure wish the birds are here!

I like the setting, soft light and moment captured. A little bit wider DOF would have made it even better but I like it as is.
