One from a couple of nights ago when we had some decent weather ,this is the male coming in just after the juvenile had been in,not sure what he had spotted as he didn't drop for anything but I liked the pose,not sure if the background is a little to green ,no saturation added and just a touch on the vibrancy (non baited bird on this occasion).............Canon 1d mkiv 300mm f4 at 6.3 iso 640 1/500 sec +1/3 ev 155411

A pleasing shot. I guess it is afternoon light and its not so much the green as the fairly heavy warm tones. A bit of cooling might work. Interesting how its front nails are worn.

Hi, the shot was taken aprox 30 mins before sunset ,as for the worn claws ,they do a lot of groundwork these little birds especialy on rough rocky ground
