Wonderful details right down to the cute feet. Has a real high cuteness factor. Is there a reason why you cropped so tight? The bird feels stuffed in the frame to me and I'd like him (or her) to have some breathing room!

Hi Grace, thanks for the comments...I can crop loser...here is a loser crop...would appreciate opinions on which people like better....I don't have much more frame to work with except for some on the left that would move the bird too centered.

Looser crop is much better, I would sharpen the feet as much as you can....

Yep, the looser crop flows much better and does not feel cramped. Cute little fella there, I love the disheveled feathers adding to the young innocence factor.

I would've been shooting at ISO 3200 and close the aperture down one to two stops at least to gain a touch more DOF.
Lovely looking bird, good position and a vertical presentation would have been stronger IMO.
