Has an "old" look with these textures, which makes it not the usual bridge shot. The height of the bridge fills ion the sky, giving it good balance. I think that big rock helps break up the otherwise boarding dirt area. Nice.

I really like the effect of the diffused blue and green tones. I would consider cropping away much of the brown foreground and let the long receding sweep of the bridge and just the aqua colors totally dominate the image. The colors and textures add an interesting watercolor aspect to the sky that balances well with the water below.

Good suggestion, Nancy. I'm trying it but I can't post new version because the desktop computer on which I have my photos won't connect to the Internet. In retrospect, I should have come back to the bridge at high tide.

I like the composition; nice point of view you chose. I like the textures and colors. I think a half inch or so off of the bottom would be good.

I assume you had to scramble a bit for this perspective. It was well worth the effort. The image has a good flow with the ascent of the cables to the first pylon and then the graceful descent to the far shore. The crop from the bottom is a good idea. I like the texture. I'm not sure about the blue green color tones. What was the original color of the bridge.

Thank you Hazel, Nancy, Gary and Judy for your comments. I've tried several crops, which I will post. The large rock is centrally positioned, which disturbs me.

the rock didn't bother me but then I saw your pano shaped crops and see the difference. I like the 2nd one though. 3rd seems a bit tight vertically.
