The Orange-chinned Parakeet (Brotogeris jugularis) - also known as Bee-bee Parrot or Tovi Parakeet - has the most northerly range of the brotogeris family. It is found in the subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, and heavily degraded former forest. Found this bad boy raiding some fruit trees in dense northern costa rica. Boy when a flock of these come in, not only is it noisy, but they can stip the fruit off the tree in a matter of minutes Thks for looking!

Don:

Beautifully captured, with good head position, bg, large but interesting perch with flattering curve that frames the bird well.

Sharp,well exposed, with soft light.

Cheers

The bird looks spot on! to me Don, lovely shades of green and blue, perch with all it's different foliage adds more interest, yourself or something else as certainly got the birds attention ,very nice indeed.

Bravo on a superb image. Everything just gels together so well here, I especially like the colours. Really nicely done waiting for a perfect head angle.

Just superb Don Don. Really lovely tones and colours and the perch is fantastic, but only due
to all that gorgeous green vegetation. Great HA on the parrot. Eye contact perfect.
Wonderful.
Thanks for sharing.

PS. With my forum template your text is nigh unreadable due to the font colour. (I use the Capt. James Shadle II - side template)

Love it, Don. I wouldn't mind just a little more space at the top, but that's a personal preference.
