Great timing, the splayed feet of prey add to the impact, nice colors, exposure, bg.

I might consider trimming a bit off the top, with very slight crop from right to keep proportions.

What a meal! Great colours, perch, BG. Good call on the vertical composition. Pointing your lens down about one more inch would have been perfect IMO as I feel the subject is a tad low on the frame.

There was no chance for adjustment, as I was sitting on the ground and tripod was already adjusted on very uneven ground and also he was eating it so fast ( not a good excuse).
