A deep narrow gorge in the Columbia River Gorge.
Dark and tough exposure, the photos are usually taken looking upstream to the waterfall.
I am looking out the way I came in....

For Nikon and Star photographers, this is shot with the new Nikon 20mm f1.8 lens.
It is pretty nice, too expensive I think, but I can't wait to use it at night!

Hi Dan

very nice..! especially love the FG water & rocks.. I see a little magenta 'haze' RHS of gorge just above the horizontal log..

Hi Dan - this works well and the choice of ss was good to combine a little blur and smooth water. I also see a magenta cast but not just above the log. An easy fix if so inclined.

Hi Dan, nice work here and great sharpness throughout the scene...the foreground rocks work very well, but I am not so crazy about the bright sky being visible....any chance you created a few versions off to one side to eliminate the sky from being visible? I'd love to see some if you did :)

Hi Dan, Nice image I like the cluster of rocks in the foreground, the only issue I have is with the tree at the begining of the gorge the color just looks off.

A pleasing composition and loving all the elements and textures here, Dan.
I agree on the cast, but also think the green saturation is a bit overcooked (looking at the moss and the tree that's visible in the centre BG).
