Excellent focus and DOF, exposure spot on. I guess you will have a quite a few images of this butterfly - did you manage to get one without the tip of the antenna being obscured?

Hi Satish,
I like the matching colors of the flower and butterfly - nice tones too - quite natural. Nice exposure showing the details in the yellows. Unobtrusive BG offering fine contrast. Well done.

I love the yellow on yellow! And a great composition with the flower serving as a platform for the butterfly, and all placed in the image on the diagonal. Good not to have any distracting details in the bkgd. There is one darker spot just at the tip of the top left petal that could be made a bit lighter to blend & match the other dark areas.

Thank you all for the feed back, suggestions and kind comments.

Jonathan,I do not have the image showing the tip of the antenna. In all it is the same position or hidden more in the flower.

Satish.

Very nice Satish. I too like the yellow on yellow. I was a bit put off at first by what I thought was a torn petal, but I realise (sorry,English spelling) now that it is the way the flower head is formed.

Hi Satish,
Could you tell me what focal length you used, and was this image cropped? I am looking at trying the 100-400 for macro too. Thanks.
