Hey Gary,
that it some view! For a simple composition.......this one has a lot going for it and it's not all simple. The diagonal of the mtns. is very powerful as is the lighting of the storm clouds. You also have another diagonal created by the shadows that start from your signature leading the viewer back into the image. The texture/shadow play is also very nice. Looks like it could use a bit more sharpening on the mtn........but very nicely done!

I like it for all the reasons Roman mentioned.

It just looks ANGRY. Simple but very effective image.

Hi I like the dramatic sky but ,as composition I should prefer a wider angle.

Nice image, Gary. I'd suggest lightening and saturating the stone a bit more. I like your composition.

I echo all the above. I would add that the image just screams power to me. The great light on the rocks that show extremely sharp detail, contrasted with the dark, ominous clouds sends a message of strong powerful Mother Nature keeping us in line. Just super!
