This tulip comes up every year in my yard. This is one of the better images I have. I like the red and yellow combination. Image was made in early morning light.

40D with 100 f2.8 macro. Center weighted a metering at ISO 100 with EV zero and f 3.2 with 1/1600. Cropped slightly from top and bottom. Levels applied.

Love it as presented !!! Simple and powerful !!! Just perfect for my taste !!! If you wanted to change anything you could mes around with the angle !!!!

Hey Ed, nice portrait, good sharp flower and color., my only suggestion would be a slight crop on the sides.
