Hi Terry -- A very nice scene you have captured !! the flowers are adding to the image . i see some noise in the BKG also the greens are appearing a bit saturated . I think some more space would have been better on the RHS of the image . TFS !!

Having recently moved from the mountains of Colorado and marmots, this is very nice to see. It would have been nice to have the marmot tilt his head towards you rather than looking away. A soft "spish" sound might have caught his attention. The simple gray rock foreground is a great "perch". If you could have moved a bit so there was just green behind the marmot and not a tree trunk that would have been good. But maybe any movement on your part would have scared the marmot away. Nice details in the wet fur.

nice capture, was just up at Crater Lake, OR and saw a few. You got the habitat right.....rock and meadow....I like that. I like the sharpness and DOF.
