This shot was taken during spring migration on a foggy morning.
I heard the song and located the bird and managed a couple of shots before it moved on.
Thanks for looking.

Great capture Karl. Beautiful detail and sharpness on the bird. I like the HA, and the foggy feeling about the image

A smart and delightful looking bird. A superb capture especially given the conditions Karl.

Yes a good shot. Not sure if you want to keep the "foggy" effect - I guess so. But if not a bit of darkening might help-or levels.
Lovely shot though.

Hi Karl I like natural shots so the foggy bit is a plus for me, bird with it's muted colours looks spot on, lovely piece of work.

Excellent high-key image. Great pose with perfect HA and body position. Good detail. I've faced this dilemma too: keep the foggy feeling or optimize the bird. I think just a tad less bright on the bird would help here, for my taste. And if you have it, just a little more room in the upper left would show the entire twig.
