Beautiful light Chris, very different. I love the little details like the shadow on the floor. Possibly needs a small clockwise rotation

A great setting here Chris and I love the diverse location.
I might just ease off on any Contrast added, likewise selectively open the shadows a fraction, this will help the less gritty appearance and allow a tad more detail through. Perhaps taking some image content off the RHS may offer anther option in the actual placement within frame. Darkening the FG to the feet will also help add depth to the image. With the 5D get a bit more DoF, ISO isn't an issue.

Hi Chris, now thats an attitude stare down - great eye contact, and love the colourful BG. You really captured a great low perspective, and just a personal thing, I would take a bit off the bottom, and a little off both sides.
