Another image from last Saturday's excursion to Ontario's Tiny Marsh...once again I used my Nikon 80-400mm VR lens to extract a more intimate scene.

Nikon D800 (with 1.5 sensor crop selected)
Nikon 80-400mm VR lens @ 400mm (600mm effective focal length)
ISO 400 (to help with slight breeze)
f40 @ 1/25 sec
No filters used

Certainly quite an unusual image of Tiny Marsh (been there many times). It has lots of mood and a very pleasing aura about it. It's well balanced, but lacks focus a little (I'm not sure where I should be looking in the picture). Generally I like it and if it was mine I would be more than happy ... good job!

I love scenes like this! Don's B/W idea sounds good -- maybe with a tint.

I like the atmosphere and layers to the image and my eye settles on the foreground lily pads after viewing the image.

Andrew, I like a lot similar images. This conveys a sense of misterious fairy tale.
