I saw this little chap on my garden pond he seemed to have an interest in the fly and vice versa!

Wonderful find! The fly does seem intent on the frog.

The frog feels a bit crowded toward the LR. Is there any more canvas below and right? The dark area behind the frog is something I'd clone out, but don't know if you're into that.

I know what you mean Diane but my pond is very busy or cluttered! Not much option really.

Great composition and well oriented subjects. Funny perch of fly :S3:. Not easy to keep all of them in DOF, like to see a bit more sharpness. TFS.

Cheers,

Nice scene...did the frog catch the fly? A couple of weeks ago while I was photographing Bullfrogs I saw a large fishing spider walking across lily pad leaves and in a split second the frog turned, jumped about 2 feet and grabbed the spider...very cool to witness, but too quick for me to capture a shot.

No the fly got away Andrew, I think the frog realised he was being watched by me!
